Trendsmap is a real-time mapping of Twitter trends across the world. See what the global, collective mass of humanity are discussing right now. They are currently processing around 5 million tweets per day. They have over 500 cities from around the world that have their own page on the site (e.g. Melbourne), and the number of topics changes depending on what people are tweeting about.
Cool, you can discover the Global and Local (Glocal) Twitter trends! Though, these are just the mega-trends, but what about all the small trends, like e-learning. Also, it currently only uses tweets that are in English :(
Finally, please get a search feature in too, and if it allows super micro-trends, then I can see how ZaidSwoosh is doing :)
